Brooklyn: Panamanian Day Parade

IMG_0664, originally uploaded by ultraclay!.

We had surprisingly good weather last weekend here in New York. Hopefully not for the last time, we had temperatures in the low to mid--70's with the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky.

I took the opportunity to go for a bike ride around Brooklyn and found myself running into the Panamanian Day Parade in Crown Heights. I stood there for an hour watching the marching bands and flag wavers and men and women in traditional outfits.

Check out the Photos on Flickr.
